The Municipality of Piracicaba – SP, in partnership with several Secretariats and with the Institute of Architects of Brazil - SP (IABsp), the organizing entity, promoted the national competition with  objective of selecting a project for the redevelopment of the important public space in Piracicaba, the Parque do Mirante, which is a natural, historical, cultural and tourist heritage of the  County. The opinion of residents and visitors to the park was invited, who submitted their suggestions to the organization of the competition.
